Connect Your WooCommerce Store

Connect UCrew to your WooCommerce store so your AI agent can search your product catalog, track orders, and help customers shop — across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and your website.

What You'll Need

  • A WordPress site with WooCommerce plugin installed and active
  • Your site must use HTTPS (not plain HTTP)
  • Admin access to WordPress
  • Your UCrew account with a project set up

How to Connect

1

Open Integrations in UCrew

Log in to your UCrew Dashboard → click Integrations in the sidebar.

2

Click "Connect" on WooCommerce

Find the WooCommerce card and click Connect. You'll see a form asking for your store URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret.

3

Generate WooCommerce API Keys

You need to create API keys in WooCommerce to give UCrew read access to your store:

  • In WordPress Admin → go to WooCommerce → Settings
  • Click the Advanced tab → then REST API
  • Click Add key
  • Description: type "UCrew Integration"
  • User: choose your admin user
  • Permissions: select Read
  • Click Generate API key

The Consumer Secret is shown only once! Copy both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret immediately before leaving this page. If you miss it, you'll need to delete the key and generate a new one.

4

Fill in Your UCrew Connection Form

Back in UCrew, fill in the connection form:

  • Store URL: your WordPress site address (e.g., https://mystore.com)
  • Consumer Key: the ck_... key from WooCommerce
  • Consumer Secret: the cs_... secret from WooCommerce

Click Save & Connect.

UCrew will test the connection by fetching one product from your catalog. If it fails, double-check that your site uses HTTPS and that your WordPress Permalink Settings are set to Post name (Settings → Permalinks in WordPress Admin).

5

Enable the Features You Want

After connecting, toggle on the features you need:

  • Product Search — let customers browse your catalog conversationally
  • Order Tracking — customers check status by order ID or email
  • Cart Abandonment Recovery — auto-follow-up with customers who didn't checkout
6

Test It Out

Open Test Chat in your UCrew dashboard and try:"Show me products under $50" or "Track order #5678".The bot should respond with real data from your WooCommerce store.

If the bot can't find products, go to WordPress → Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes (even without changing anything). This refreshes your REST API routes.

Common Questions

Is it safe to share my Consumer Key and Secret?

Yes — the keys have Read-only permissions. UCrew can only read your data, not create, edit, or delete anything in your store.

My store URL uses HTTP, not HTTPS — will it work?

No — WooCommerce REST API requires HTTPS for security. Contact your hosting provider to enable an SSL certificate (most offer it for free).

The connection failed — what should I check?

1) Make sure your Permalink Settings are set to Post name. 2) Make sure your Consumer Key and Secret are copied correctly. 3) Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active.

Can I connect multiple WooCommerce stores?

Yes — each store connects as a separate integration. Add them from the Integrations page.
